So I put in my new HIDs, had everything done hooked up and working.
Then I wanted to run my fogs with just my parking lights, so I did the mod where you run a wire from the tail light relay to the fog light fuse. I used a jumper wire just to see how it'd look because it's all I had on me, I was going to wire in a fuse after I saw the appearance. Well that was obviously a terrible idea, and I must have shorted something out because now my headlight switch doesn't turn on anything, parking lights, tail lights, fog lights, or head lights. And my Hi-beams don't stay on.
I know the headlights work because I can put the headlight switch on a half click back (as if you were flashing your brights) and everything comes on.
I volt tested all the fuses everywhere, and everything is good
I switched the relays in the fuse box around, nothing helped.
I looked in the back of the fuse box for burnt wires, nothing
I looked behind the headlight switch for burnt wires, nothing.
Any more ideas or trouble shooting how to fix the problem?
Could I have killed that switch?
