Turn signal/headlight switch compatibility

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if a 97 gst turn signal switch would work on my '95 gsx. Parts warehouse lists only 95-96 being compatible, wondering if anybody can confirm this.

The switch on the steering column? Any 95-99 should work, I believe they are all identical.

Yeah, the one on the steering column. This is why I was hesitant of buying/trying it:

Says 95-96 is like 80 bucks, the 97-99 switch is like 60, so I thought there had to be a difference.

Go on eBay and find one, you could probably find it way cheaper. Maybe they are different I guess, when I replaced mine, I don't remember paying attention to whether it was 2Ga or 2Gb.

Thanks. I went on ebay and found a used 2ga (the correct one) for about 30 bucks shipped (50 bucks less than the other one I was looking at).
