Is anyone familiar with what to remove to get this switch replaced? I see 4 Philips screws under thr steeering wheel and 4 bolts behind the wheel which holds the plastic cover on, i took the cover off but could not get the steering wheel itself off after loosening the center bolt off.

Is the steering wheel supposed to come off?

On a side note is there anything else that can keep my turn signals from working when all my lights flash/ strobe with the hazards on?

No bolts. Should all be phillips screws. At least mine were. You have to take the plastics off the steering column. Take the hardware out from the bottom. 3-4 screws i believe. Take care not to break the covers they are thin plastic. Now that the column is exposed its 2 more screws to get the lever out along with a wire harness that needs to be disconnected. Gently wiggle out the assembly. No need to remove the steering wheel.

Thanks alot for the help. Just to clarify-- you don't remove any 10mm bolts? What about the dashcover under the steering wheel - would it make the job any easier? Thanks again

No undo the cover (has the ignition key) 4 Phillips screws. Then just unscrew the whole arm. 2 small screws. I don't remember if there is a small harness for it or not.

But as far as getting access to what you want to do just take the two plastic pieces out that are between the speedo and the wheel.
