I have a friend that has a 99 Eclipse GS 5 speed, he also has a 95 GST automatic with a blown motor can he put the 99 GS motor in the 95 auto gst?? i know its going down but he doesnt have the money to fix the GST???
thanks alot

whats wrong with the non turbo? Its a waste of time and more money to do this swap than it would probably cost to fix the GST and others will agree. Tell him to sell the non turbo, get a beater and put what money he has left to get the GST running.

I would just drive the non turbo around until I saved up the money to fix the GST.

Then your friend is S.O.L. Not an economical option to swap entirely different engines.

I also vote drive the GS and save to fix the GST.

i just told him and let him read this... so i think that he isnt going to do it he just had to hear it from someone else other then me i guess
thanks for the help
