I Besides that, cutting the roof off of the car would cause the frame to break really quickly. The first time you tried to open the doors, the whole car would fold, likely. I've seen it happen on a Sebring on a lift (post DSM). Dude opened both doors at the same time while it was in the air and it folded like a jack-knife.
No it wont. I cut the entire top off a 96 eclipse rs and stripped the body so both doors were gone. Guess what, it didnt fold. I left the windshield and about 3-4 inches above the windshield just like the spyer looks.
that is one of the dumbest things ive ever heard. That story is bs

so if they get MOST of their extra strength through the doors then why dont they fold up when they open the doors
