Ok i recently put a new act 2600 clutch kit in my car about 3 weeks ago. After everything was done it was running good, but within the last week there has been alot of problems. Now the car has been slipping in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear, usually only after the car has been sitting there for awhile. But it seams like the clutch is slipping or sticking. Because when i try to accelerate the car doesn't, i can hear the car getting louder but it just doesnt catch.

I have an ACT2100 with no problems, but I know that for the 2600 to work right you must get the flywheel step-machined. If that has been done then there could possibly be a malfunction with your master or slave cylinder.....I've seen cases where they will stick and not allow the clutch to fully release.

You should machine the flywheel with any clutch install.

When i put the clutch in i also put in a act streetlite flywheel. And both the master and slave cylinders were replaced. Could it be possible that the clutch could be sticking because of the cold, because it usually on happens after the car has been sitting for a
while.
