more boost??

ok this may be a stupid question but over the winter i was running rite around 15 psi of boost. now im running 18 19 somewhere in that range but never above 19. i checked the hoses going to the wastgate and there fine the selinoid is still connected too. everything seems to be fine so why more boost?

possibly a leak or a pin hole in the vacuum lines going to either the solenoid or wastegate can cause that. Had a similar issue like that.

Do a boost leak test.

Boost leak would not let him spike to 19psi,

Most likely its your wastegate,
Try connecting a compressor set at 15psi to the wastegate nipple and see if the wg opens,
If it doesnt open then your wastegate is going out

A boost leak test will show if there is a leak in the line going to the wastegate. If there is this will create more boost.

no boost leaks..this happened over night to real quick. so idk if that would be a bad wastegate. and no im not running a mbc at the moment.

So you have no controller in your car?

Hook a presure pump up to your wastegate actuator and see how much pressure it takes for it to start to move.

i have the factory boost controller still. no boost controller would be not so good . and ill try to do the wastgate check soon. i will report back
