I got a 1g talon tsi awd. I want to give it as much street legal power as possible without being noticed by the black and whites and the smog guys.I was thinking of going with a
16g turbo and running a stroker motor so what are the pros and cons of the stroker setup
,and what more should I do to prepare for a 16g.plus how much power can be pumped out unoticed as I mentioned above.im also going to upgrade the motors piston i was thinking of going with ross pistons and eagle rods.

[this is my first post on this site i dont mean to bother you all with this but if you got time please reply. lastly thank you for reading]:hmm::hmm::

Tech Guide: 1G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners

That should have everything you're looking for. Welcome to the site! A lot of the other members aren't as nice as me (you caught me on a good day) and you're gonna get a lot of "Search First" replies. Make sure you search the site very well before you post a question. Most questions have been answered a million times already.

16g is a relatively small turbo, by no means will need a stroked motor to take full advantage of it. It will spool plenty quick, even on a stock 2.0 :thumb:

It's always good to have long term goals, but I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself. A built stroker engine is overkill for a 16g. That turbo will run out of breath before it makes enough power to need upgraded internals.

Read through the upgrade paths and start there. There are many more mods and much better things to do with your money before thinking about building the block.

If you really want to stroke it, a something bigger, like a HX-35 would be a good way to go. Stroking will make you more low end torque, but it's not really necessary, especially with a 6 bolt. Unless you are in need of internals, then you really don't have to mess with them. If your m/t, the turbo (14b) which is on there has plenty of room to grow with you. Is your maintenance up to speed (including timing belt)?

yeah I am sorry I couldn't reply sooner to any of you needless to say I have been vary busy.
So to anwser your question yes that was the first thing i did once i got the car i replaced the timming belts both of them.

see this is a second engine that I bought to tune and or beef up. the engine that is in the car now is a stock one.so basicly what kinda numbers am I looking at here as far as the most street safe and or legal 300-400hp?.
