Mods for my 91 Laser turbo

i have a 91 laser rs turbo, which a 3"turboback exhaust, and autometer boost gauge. Im just wondering if anyone could tell me of some simple mods to increase horsepower, and just general performance.

also i have a question about my turbo, i believe its a stock turbo, and is set to boost 15psi, but with the addition of the 3" exhaust it is now boosting around 18psi. other threads have said that your car should not boost over 16psi with a stock fuel system, im just wondering if its safe to be boosting 18psi?

Suggestion to the OP. My son and I have been working on our car for around seven months now and have spend a ton of money on parts and labor. When you have a car as old as these with as many miles on them as they have you can spend a million dollars and not get everything done. I would like to point out that all of your engine bay looks unmolested and I wonder how many mods have actually been done. In the event you start doing mods yourself and all your working with is what you have read on this or other forums then you will regret toutching the car in the first place. I suggest searching for other DSM'ers in your area and meeting up with them, it is the safest and most fun way to work on your car.
