mmcd logger stopped working

My logger used to work just fine and then it would only work some time now not at all. Is there a down side to the cable plugged in all the time? Is there a sertain order you plug things in and turn stuff on? I checked all the connections and they seem good. Does mmcd go bad after a while? Does my phone/palm need mmcd reloaded on it?

reset the settings in mmcd to default and try it. Make sure the COM is 1920-1953 otherwise it wont communicate with the ecu.

You did it reset the mmcd and it worked. But every time I do a test and it reads it will say ecu comm error then on the bottom say serial comm error so I read again and they will switch then I read a few mor times then it will throw the codes oxygen sensor and air intake sensor. But it will log.
