MMCd custom sensors

I'm messing around with MMCd, which I've had for a while and used the basic functions, but I'm looking to play around with the custom sensor options and injector testing. I have the sourceforge page bookmarked, but the address/function stuff honestly makes no sense to me - none of the values fit in the fields available within MMCd. For example, I want to check my idle switch and the sourceforge page says "Address - 0x02 Function - bit 0x80" what does that mean and how do I input that to MMCd?

Also, on a related note, I decided to try the "injector test" and 1 and 2 did nothing, 3 and 4 worked and made the car run/idle identical (rough, obviously). BTW I'm running version 1.5d of MMCd via palm emulator on Windows 7.

It means that at location 2 in memory the high order bit reflects the state of the Idle Position Switch.
The various memory locations are listed to the best of our knowledge (for the E931 code used in 91/92 turbo cars) in the disassembly listing http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/YL6vT9...1g/e931_disasm/E932_E931_commented_source.zip

With the custom sensors you can only look at all the bits at once so you'll have to take the value and decide if the high bit is on or off.

Okay, I think that makes sense. Lol. So I just enter "02" in the first field and whatever I want to name it in the other field? I just got a little confused because on the source forge page there were multiple sensors with that same memory address.. Thanks Steve I'll give it a try and see what happens.
