Right now I have a keydiver stage 3 chip made for 93. Would I be ok mixing in some e85 still running that chip? What ratio should I go for and would it even help?

For future reference, the stoich ratio for ethanol is 9:1. You may think it's a nominal difference, but you need the right numbers for any sort of calculations.

I think he meant E85 in the post you're referring to, not pure ethanol which you're correct is 9:1.

E85 is 9.765:1. The E70 winter blend is about 10.7:1

I just want to make sure i get this straight.

I realize there are different summer/winter blends . do you have to tune for both winter and summer? also, i garage my car from October to usually early may when do they switch between the 2 blends?

Nope, if you have a good tune usually the stock o2 will adjust for 15% fuel difference with the fuel trims and when it switches the ecu should take care of it. I mean I cant even tell when the fuel switched.

bringing this thread back from the dead but my car seems to be quite the knock happy combination. At 22 psi on my old style fp green and literally 0 timing im getting between 0-4 degrees of knock retard. I am looking at throwing in 3 gallons when i fill up just so i can suppress that knock more so. I eventually will be switching to e85 once i get a dd besides my talon but for now i just want a more spirited drive. Im only looking for around 400 hp out of the fp green but the knock is limiting me to around 350.

As a side note what could make my setup knock happy. Its a 9.0:1 compression 2.4l with stock 2g head. Fp green and full supporting mods. If i was to throw in cams would that help??
