In a couple months I'm going back to the states, been buying parts on deployment and it time to mod.

Currently sold my Jun I beams rods (why) if we talk about a budget friendly mods I can buy Manley rod and Wiseco piston for the price of the Jun rods.

Power Goal: min 400hp max 500hp

On hand and some in the vehicle:
Walbro 255lhp GSS342
800cc Denso injectors hi impedance
Evo9 FPR
Jun 264 IN/EX, valve springs kit
Apexi downpipe
Apexi catalytic
Apexi N1 muffler
ARP head, bottom, cam, cam gear, literally all ARP bolt that you can think about.
Felpro headgasket (non-MLS)
Factory Evo3 turbo
Evo8 MAF

On wishlist
AEM cam gears
AEM wideband
ECMLink v3 lite Evo3
Os Giken super single clutch (400 to wheel)
Manley H beam rod
Wiseco 85.5mm 9.0.1 piston
Crankshaft bearing, rods bearing (still don't know what is best for daily)

And those are the mods for now, I do have maintenance stuff like OEM oil pump, water pump, gaskets etc.

With these mods can anyone guesstimate power between 18-22psi on 93oct.

Any recommendations or options are more than welcome, is a process for a fun and reliable car. Still learning the way of a 4g63t.

My car Instagram lancer_ce9a_III_gsr I will try to upload videos on YouTube but probably in Spanish I'm more fluent in my language.

You will be lucky to reach 300hp on pump gas with that turbo at that boost range. And will absolutely need to run a quality fuel to reach 400 as well as nearly max that turbo out. Which will also be a stretch for that turbo. And 100% will never reach 500hp with that turbo.

You can meet all of your goals with stock cam gears. Unless you need the bling and plan on not running the timing cover.

You also can meet all of your goals on a stock bottom end. Even a 7 bolt. Unless your car is down and needs an engine. Which I certainly wouldn’t invest in a 7 bolt if that were the case.

JDM Evo 3 4g63t came factory with a 9.0.1 cr pistons, but is a glass piston at 18psi ringlands exit the chat, rods bend at 400hp. The good part is a JDM 7 bolt that won't crank walk like USDM 7 bolt. Aftermarket cam gears are a must to meet Aftermarket cams specs. But I take your word that the turbo will never hit 500hp. This car factory is at 0.8bar of boost and make 270hp factory on pump.

That is absolutely false information information. There is no magic, at number that a piston fails. The same thing with a connecting rod.

And the most expensive set of rods and pistons will fail at 150hp if you are dumb enough.

You are also incorrect on a JDM engine no crank walking. I have personally had my hands on two Evo IV engines that walked. Badly.

You can believe what you want about the cam gears. I have made 1050whp on a stock, Mitsubishi cam gear.

I probably won’t reply here anymore. You obviously believe everything you have ever read.

1st the information that I just put is correct because every Tuner in Japan even mitsubishi knew that. Everyone knows that a evo3 and evo4 are different even crank bearing where different in brand Mitsubishi did a bad job on evo4. But we are not here to talk about evo4. What I was trying to say is evo3 7 bolt has different internals vs 7 bolt usdm (how) different compression, lighter rods. I been in Japan, I did ask around in few reputable shops. You don't need to waste your time here, thanks for your input about turbo won't hit 500hp.
