So I lost my lug nut tool for my lugs and I'm not sure where to get another one or if someone happens to have the same one as me. It would be a great help as my tires are bald as shit and i need to rotate them.

If you're tires are "bald as hell" I wouldn't rotate them. Might as well just slap some new ones on. Do what Honda said, use a socket that is almost too small to fit over it, hammer it on, and then you can use a wrench (or vice grips) to get it off. You'll most likely damage your wheel lock, so buying some new ones would probably be a good idea. I got mine from NAPA for 6 bucks each.

yea a hammer socket for sure.

I got rid of my lock nuts for this purpose. No one in my town is gonna jack my rims haha.

Well my back tires are in a lot better shape then the front so I figured might as well put those up front until I can get some tires. Thanks for the info though guys I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Before ruining a socket or two, see if some local tire stores have spare lug keys. My shop has about three or four of the most popular keys for tuner lugs. That style you have is pretty common. The other option is to buy the replacement set of locks and get the exact same brand, then you'll have two sets of locks, plus the key to both sets.

The only problem is I bought the car with these on it and have no idea what kind they are or where the guy got them, I went to advance and picked up another set and that key didnt work. So I'll probably stop by a few shops like you said thanks. :thumb:

Your local Pep Boys should sell a locking lug set that will have an identical key to match your lug nut lock. They are about 24.99 for the entire set with four locking lugs and 16 regular lugs. Good luck.

Also, many shops have a double sided reverse thread wheel lock remover from Snap-on. This keeps any damage to the lock only. Hammering a socket on you run the risk of missing or grazing the socket and smacking your wheel with said hammer.

The shop I used to work at charged 10 bucks per wheel lock to remove them. Getting all 4 ripped off would run you 40 bucks, plus 25 for the 4 replacement lug nuts. My guess is to scrounge up enough money for the replacement lugs and 2 new tires. I would suggest asking them to put the new tires on the front, then rotate them to the back. Which would bring the better of the old to the front. When they ask where the lock key is, you can tell them you lost it. Since you already bought the tires, they'll probably remove the locks for free, and if you have the replacement lugs, ask them to put those on.

Then you can take it home and rotate the new ones back to the front.
