I am finally getting around to fixing all the "little" things in my GSX that are bugging me. Im not sure if it's something the previous owner did, or if something is broken, but there's a problem with an electrical circuit in my car.
When I open my driver's door, the dome lights dont come on, the light around the ring of the key doesn't light up, and the bell does not ding, and the open door indicator light doesn't show on the guage panel.
Now I know alot of people will stop the bell from dinging because its annoying. But it also reminds me to turn my HEADLIGHTS OFF!! I have had one instance when I forgot and came back to a dead battery. So I have decided to fix it.
Is there a fuse that could have been pulled that controls all these things? I looked at the fuse panel under the dash and didnt see one indicating it controlled this circuit.
The passenger door causes all these things to work...its just the drivers side.
I took a screw driver and pulled out the switch that the door triggers when it opens and closes...but the wires are connected to it. (I figured he cut them, but he didn't).
Also, if I am out cleaning the car, and I leave the doors open while I clean it vaccuum it etc....the battery dies. I would say within 1-2 hours. My black GS surely didnt' do that.
