Electrical Question

Hello everyone... my first post on these forums.

I made the wastegate restrictor mod and removed the restrictor on the wastegate solenoid, when I was doing this I noticed an electrical relay switch attached to the same mounting bracket the WGS is attached to, then I realized cables for this relay are almost severed, my question is... Does anyone know what is that relay for? I need to have those cables fixed, however would like to know if I may be risking something big not fixing that problem right away...

i cant remember any relay on this bracket off hand. (at lest my 99gst or 96 awd dont have it)

I found the electrical service manual for all 4G6 engines, and this part is a generator relay, it is important, I will have it replaced ASAP.
