Miami DSM Meet!

Then most likely well have our meet heading towards Fudrockers. I myself don't like having to pay tolls.

And as for the cop situation, we have our meets during the day to avoid trouble with law-enforces. As long as we all behave and don't race/burn outs, we will be fine as we've never had any problems with the law so far. Lets keep it that way.

I agree its great for taking pictures, but its not about where 3 or 4 of us would be able to drive its about we all cruising together. Btw the Evo guys that meets there at tropical should join us as well...
 
the beach is nice if your down to pay a toll. PLUS weve already gone out that way plenty of times. something different will be nice this time.

we can always discuss this AT the meet once were all there and know pretty much whos able to go or not. thats usually how it happens anyway.

I've passed out a bunch of fliers today guys. Remember our goal here is to type up this meet as much as we can for big numbers!

Remember this is also the best time to buy/bring anything you guys might have for sale!

I see ALOT of people on here asking about tuning their cars or going to shops to get their cars tuned...

If any one needs their car tuned, I'm now officially offering tuning services for all DSM's.

I have had a my DSM since 2003 and I have ALWAYS tuned my car myself using first an AFC/Logger, then i moved on to the GM MAF/translator combo and now DSMLINK (all versions).

What you will gain by coming to me rather than a shop is that I will TEACH YOU how to tune and show you what I am doing to make your car run better so that you can learn and you can make changes on your own once you feel comfortable.

A shop will take your money, "tune" your car and you have no idea what they did.

All is ask is that the car be in good working order and that you have the proper tools:

Wideband is recommended for ALL

And if you are using an AFC or GM MAF with a translator, please have a datalogger so we can log the car.

If you have DSMLINK, the datalogger is obviously built in.


Also, I can do almost anything on these cars mechanically. I have tools but no garage. So, If you have a garage or driveway and need some work done, I can come help or do it for you. Again, you get to WATCH & LEARN instead of having some shop just do it and you have no idea what they touched.

My car has never been to a shop, I do everything myself.

I am VERY flexible on time and price.

LOL my bad, i didnt see it. my reason for asking is because I work every sunday, but i have been trying to make one of these meets for a while now. so i will sacrifice and leave work at 2 or 3pm. will you guys still be at tropical park? i know sometimes you guys drive to different locations...

I'll take a look at it for ya if you want. I live in hollywood. pm me so I can bring some tools from the shop if interested. I would like to attend the next meet. i've gone to the hangout in the vr4 a few times lately but i'm just getting to old to deal with the cop BS. A nice kick back meet would be nice.
 
That's one of the reasons I don't go to these places anymore...back in Philly, when I first got my DSM in 2003, I was at the street races every weekend for like 2 years straight but after a while it's not worth it anymore considering the risks involved (loosing your license, accidents, etc).

Im nervous man i hope my DSM dont go crazy on me this week, no more blown fuel, oil hose LOL thats a nightmare:cry:....
