Dam i think i would be going anytime this month, right now im heaving the badest fuel cut ever experienced around well, i cant step on it i have to accelerate slowly so i could drive normally altho it would gain speed like it would without the fuel cut but slowly =[...

Everything is still the same so far. Just plan on being there before 12pm. (11:30ish~11:45)


We're actually deciding a route for an actual planned cruise. We'll keep you guys posted on it.



[Also, plan on bringing some cash, as we might make a food stop as part of our cruise. Still undecided wether it be a restaurant, or fast food.]

There was a intake manifold list in craigslist ported with HKS elbow, call im and ask him if the throttle body by itself has a price, anyways finding one wont be a problem...

sounds good to me though alot of pepole run on the "cuban time" (30 min late

30 minutes late would even be good! But not to bash on anyone at all or anything, but some people show up an hour or 2,3 hours later. Yeah, I know it's Sunday and it's the day off for most people/like to sleep. But this only happens once every 2 months. If you can't get up, then you really don't care about being here.


Cruise location is still being discussed, but suggestions are strongly welcome, as we are not the only factors in deciding our destination.

can anyone help me figure out why my car is overheating? i just drove it from northern IL to here, and it does fine on the highway for the most part (when its really hot it overheats at 70mph as well) but as soon as i slow down to idle or cruise speeds it flies up. anyone can take a look at it?

i bet northern IL is very very cold and your probably not used to seeing the kinda heat we got down here. hopefully its nothing. where exactly are you at?

northern IL is not very cold this time of year, and my car was overheating there as well.

im in hollywood FL.

Are your fans working? At highway, the fans are pretty much not needed but at idle they are. So if the car is hot only at idle/cruise, it's got to be your fans.

Maybe they are wired wrong and they are sending the air in the wrong direction.

Anyway, there can be a million things that's causing the over heating. Check the simple stuff first. Make sure there is coolant, burp system, change thermo-stat, ect.

Did you move down here to stay? Or are you just visiting? Either way welcome to Miami!

if you think i drove 1500 miles without checking the little sutff first, your crazy! ive checked and double checked every frickin thing on the car, doesnt make a difference.

, well you didn't really provide us with any information on what you did. So it's kinda hard for us to more or less pin-point out what could be causing the problem.

When was the last time the radiator was looked at? Is it stock? Has it been replaced? Flushed? Fans turn on? Leaking hoses? Make sure all of them are in top condition.

like i said, if its a common problem its been checked and double checked. mishimoto radiator with what was 200 miles before i left for here, flushed several times, fans work fine, coolant pressure test was fine, everything was working that i could check. im taking it to asaperformance today hopefully they can find something.

As for cruise meets. As of right now we came up with 2 things.

1) We can cruise to a beach area, stop by a fast food along the way to our destination. I was actually thinking of something like this. It's a bit far, but we've cruised all the way to Broward before, so it's not all that bad. Parking would be in the large parking box area, which is normally unused.

Like I said, the only thing here is just a bit of a drive, and tolls.

2) We can take a shorter cruise, and all cruise to Fudrockers and eat there and hang out afterwards as a final destination. Parking is big and open there on US1.

The best thing about this one, is if it happens to rain, we can all hang out inside with no problem.

Both sound awesome to me. So let me know what you guys would rather do, or if you want to throw in any idea's.

I just don't want this to be a last minute decision like it usually is.
