meth nozzle size for high boost e85 car

Running hx40 pro with 1600cc injectors. Going larger later but I have a progressive devils own kit was going to mount right after intercooler to help run more boost plan on 35 psi and higher. I have suppoting mods just wondering what size to use. Not really using for fuel but looking to reduce air temps.

Well for starters, meth injection with e85 isn't really necessary, and I doubt there would be much, if any benefit from it, e85 has an octane rating of 100. That being said, I am fairly certain the nozzle shouldn't be just after the intercooler either, as that will give the meth/water time to condense and or pool up before it reaches the manifold, pretty sure it should be mounted as close to the intake manifold as possible, ie. in front of the throttle body.

Actually not using for octane. Using for decreasing air temps. My intercooler is great but at 40psi still going to b hot. Was thinking it would help lower temps. Only herd of few people doing it. cooling it 24"
From tb. Shoulnd pool up. At that temp would b able to cool it atvits hottest temp after intercooler. Maybe do a pre intercooler nozzle instead.

If you just want to lower temps, water works fine.

Unless your injecting pre-turbo, Water/Meth injection isn't going to make any difference with E85. Your basically running race fuel, a few degrees difference in intake temps isn't going to matter.

Source- I've ran 40psi on an HX40 with a Punishment FMIC and never saw more than 5-10* above ambient at the throttle body.

Yup. I run E85 and use my pre- and post-turbo nozzles for fighting IC heatsoak, as well as keeping cylinder head and exhaust temps down.

Thanks going to run small nozzle after intercooler because it will be hot I drive for extended amounts of time at high speeds
