I just heard on Talk that you need a -6an return fitting and it would bolt up and work fine?

This is not true simply because nothing in the kit is equipped with -6AN fittings, that is why the fitting I bought did NOT work. The only way to make THAT work is if you converted the entire return setup with -6AN lines.:dsm:

Your solution?

Again, take a look at the thread I posted on here earlier. My solution invloves about 4 hours of fabrication but I did not know of any alternative so I had to make do. I believe it was mentioned here or on the other thread I posted about this subject that there is a similar fitting that you can purchase. That still means you have to purchase more things that the kit did not come with, thus making it NOT bolt-on, right?

Another aspect I should mention is; I wanted to make what I had work with as little money as possible so that is what I came up with. By all means, go steel braided if you have the dineros. They will last longer, stand more psi over longer period of time, and look a whole lot cooler .

EDIT: I just remembered that I had my boss take pics of the fitting I made right before I installed it. I'll have those pics posted by the end of the week so you have a better idea of what needs to be made if you decide to go my route. :dsm:

I would be interested to know how much some of you have spent to actually make the Megan FRP work? I'm not bashing just trying to figure if it is worth it for someone buying a new one to get this over other regualtors. Those that already have it I can see making it work as the money has already been spent.

As a fallow up it took me all of 30 seconds to set up mine after I started to car. I did have a bit of a leak but I gave the gauge an extra turn and fixed it. Set it and it holds just fine with a 255 in the tank.

Well I spent 25 bucks on a fitting that I was told (by Megan Racing) to purchase to find out that it didn't work. That is when I made my own. So all in all, I spent about 35 bucks after the kit for extra fuel line and the wrong fitting .
