Hi all, long time no see. Long story short my car build went a little further than I was expecting and now have a goal of 700+ hp .
I am going to be running a mechanical fuel pump and looking for advice!
I planned on following this diagram of how the lines are ran below. I contacted the person who made this diagram and he recently recommended I run the lift pump directly to the FPR and from the tank to the fpr out to the pump. This sounds like a GREAT and way simpler idea, he recommended I run it this way because he had experienced some starvation with the pump not being able to pull enough fuel from the tank anywhere after a 1.4 60ft I believe it was . Me and him were talking back and fourth and I ran the idea by him of just leaving my lift pump on all the time going to the regulator to keep from the mechanical pump starving. He said he would look into it and I trust him but I am also looking for any and all advice from people who have first hand Experience ! Looking for info of any sort whether it be about pump starvation, how you ran your setup, and tips, anything and everything! Thank you!
