"Mechanic" Messed up tranny.

ok im pissed. this guy was working on my car while i was at work. he is someone i work with and knows a good deal bout cars. but he doesnt listen very well i guess. he was helping me put a new act clutch in my car, i know how to but i dont have time cause im in college and i have work. so i dont have much time thoughout the day/ week to do much. so anyways he does all the work, but forgets to grease the throughout bearing, cut the flywheel, puts gl5 in my tranny, and doesnt adjust my pedal. im so pissed. now i have to have my other friend who owns a shop fix the probs for me. putting that fluid in there could have torn up all my syncros. i will be so pissed then. but it hasnt moved very far so hopefully we can just flush it out, and put the right stuff in there. but its like i have to do it allll over again cause that bearing wasnt greased. i really do hate it when other people work on my car. i think im just going to let it sit till i have the time to fix it.

instead of bitching about it take the 2 min it takes to drain the oil out and put your "good stuff in" they hardly "####ed up" your tranny or destroyed your synchros or whatever else it is you think the bad gear oil will do....

hey man u can call me whatever you want..but on my tranny its a serious problem. and it takes a lot more than 2 min. but anyways i dont hold grudges..but it seems like im the only one who knows what im talkin bout...so you can put me on any "blacklist" you want..just keep messin you car up and asking yourself why. ill have the answer and you wont

who's messin their car up? shit i had 200k miles on my trans when i broke my shift rails my synchro's were in good shape and all that time i was runnin 2 dollar a qt gear oil. i also break my trannies in with bad gear oil "just in case"

you're arguing over 45 dollars worth of gear oil cuz you're too lazy to go change it


reach up, unscrew drain plug, drain (cna do with the car on the ground too EVEN LOWERED) get a trans filling funnel, remove front fill (can do with on the car) fill until top of hole replace bolt.

how long does that take? shit when my trans case was cracked and leaking i iused to have to do that weekly took me about 30s

something else you dont understand....our trannys are diff...its a little more complicated on my tranny. and we have to use diff fluid. the fluid im talkin bout isnt that expensive. so thanks for your input but once again your wrong. *reaches on the counter and hands him his hateraide* :laugh:
