this is a similar problem to the other post below but mine's a little different. every time i try to shift into reverse, it wont go in. like no matter how hard i pull down into reverse it just doesnt wanna go in. once it goes in it stays...but getting it in is the hard part. is there somethin wrong with that?

It could be a few things causing this... but I had this problem before and until now I don't get it, but my problem was low tranny fluid... yeah I know, pretty weird, but that was it, so you should start by that, check your fluid level and fill up if necessary, drive around for a few miles and try again reversing... you must try to use all gears in movement so the fluid runs all around your gears before trying to revers.

or try stopping. shift into first, then reverse. no synchro for reverse and it uses another gear that moves in and meshes.. ever have the problem where u think its in reverse and u go and it kindda softly grinds or clicks? that sucks but adjusting the cable a bit might help, or push the clutch in good and hard and go reverse neutral reverse.

it might either be your clutch...... but i dobt that...
and as for sincro it would go in but grind like a mother..... bring your car to a tranny shop and just have them replace the bearings and synchros if youd like or have it fully built....
its expensive but its well worth it.... perople pay 1000 dollars for rims yet they wont spend around that for a tranny build...
