Meagan Downpipe Install Q

i just recieved my Meagan Downpipe. What a good looking SOB! 121.10 shipped w/ insurance from ebay. cant beat that. Anyway, am i going to run into any 02 problems with this cat eliminator, do i need to do anything other then unbolt the stock DP and Cat throw them away and bolt this baby up?

You might ruin your rear o2 sensor over time without the cat. As ive read u replace the gaskets and bolt it up.

I have a quick side question for you though, the ebay site says it is a 3" inlet 3" outlet. Is this true??? Ive read that it is 3" through the pipe but tapers to 2.5" at the inlet and outlet.

no its not a true 3inch inlet from the o2 housing. I its like 2.5 and then expands to 3 inch to the exhaust.

You can do a mechanical CEL fix by adding spark plug anti-foulers to where the rear o2 sensor plugs in. Otherwise you will probably get a CEL.
