My check engine light came on when I was on the way home today. When I raised the hood I found that this sensor had come loose somehow and popped off.

So I just popped it back in and everything ran fine, no ill effects. Just wondering if I should be worried that it came loose? Or can I just go get the code cleared and be on way?

After a couple drive cycles with no problems the ECU will clear the code for you (as long as nothing else pops a code obviously)

And just to add, I love how everyone calls this the MAP sensor.
