Im new to dsm's in the city of bowie. My car should be up and running in august. My brother has the 2g gsx in upper marlboro.

Nevermind. This post super old.

Think it's more of an on-going thread . . . :) Some of us are still here. I've started to see a couple of nice 2Gs over here in the Columbia area lately.

I moved from the area some time ago and I now live in Pottstown, PA.... Won't see much of me unless you travel to jersey for the big import races. I know some of you maryland guys make the big drive for Pan Americans.

Im down in the Laurel area. I dont drive the talon around to much though

up in Towson...im the only DSM i see that isnt some chick going to school near by...

Its almost time to throw some more dough at the GSX

They are out there. Everyone I know is getting their builds together. I know of a 1G in your immediate area that's a few bolts away from being a complete monster. Another just down 95, added a built tranny to an already sick build. The Baltimore area is going to be live real soon.

Travis I might be buying the talon back been looking for one any decent ones in ## area

That's good to hear! I don't know of any nice ones for sale in MD. There is a guy with a super clean 1Ga panda talon but he is parting his out. I think his car is even cleaner than your old talon when i had it. I'll def hit you up if i see something around here. Are you looking for one to build again or one that's already built?

Looking for one to build iv'e even been looking at galant vr4's.

VR4 would be nice, your money will go a little further getting a DSM though as there are so many of them. Just found a nice shell for sale on DSMLink forum for $500 in PA. But then you would need to get a engine/ trans etc for it.
I just got my trans redone and rebuilt my engine in the spring. Time to hit the track, but now i have some 1600s and a regulator that need to go in so i can try some E85 and see what i can do on this little holset turbo.

Not from MD, from VA. Just barely in Loudoun County. I head to 75-80 on a regular basis. MIR for import vs domestics. I'm around most of the time, if I'm not playing jack stands with the Talon that is. Lol

Sweet. Havnt seen you at 75-80 yet LOL. Haven't been in a few weeks. I may shoot for Friday though:)

Blue Talon, I was reading ## mod list and was wondering why ## time is so high? I ran a 13.42 with stock ecu, 15Psi, and meth injection.....You should be in the 12's with what you have. Also I learned that 75-80 is a consistant 2 tenths slower than other strips. Damn them and there up hill BS. LOL. One of these days im gonna hit up Cecil. Im hoping for a 12.xx time slip

First time at the track with the DSM. Couldn't get a good launch, or catch second right.

Gotcha I know how that is LOL. I could not get a good launch. My clutch was not having it by the time I left the track
