MBC in-line with stock BCS?

hey, i just got a manual boost controller, and i am wondering what the possibilites are for setting this up... i've seen some install write ups where you install the MBC in-line with the stock BCS, and other write ups where the MBC replaces the BCS..

how do you guys have your mbc setup?

Everyone I know totally bypasses the bcs when installing an mbc. If you run it in line with the bcs, you might experience inconsistent boost. All the bcs can do is increase boost, not decrease it so why keep it functional?

yeah you def. don't need to be using the BCS anymore. Here is a link to the best way to install a MBC as far as i'm concerned, i have it done this way and boost is rock steady:

Remove the BCS. It would just be redundant, and extra complication of more connections and longer tube runs.

Use one of these two setups. I opted for the bottom approach since my boost controller reads the manifold pressure.

Did the photo not load? the photo should have a setup with the MBC running off the manifold and then below it a setup with the MBC running directly off the turbo. My oppoligies if you cannot see the photo... it looks just fine for me

it is possible to use an MBC with the stock BCS, but you dont run it inline, its supposed to be Tee'd because the BCS bleeds the excess boost pressure... I actually prefer to run it this way to get consistent pressure to the wastegate
