i think i have a synckro going out. Because every time i try to shift in 5th gear it grinds a little . I know that there normally easy transmissions to take out and rebuild. but i'd much rather baby it and keep from rebuilding it for now. If that is ok and i'm wondering if i do have to change the synckro, would it be a good idea to double synkro all the gears or just change out the bad one ?

Try changing the trans fluid, with some Redline MT90!
Also you can't just put in double syncros, you either have to have the gears machined for the dual syncro or you have to put in the evo3 gearset!
