Matching gauge setups

Anyone know of matching gauge setups, preferably in black/red?

The only good gauges I know in black/red is defi-d's and they look more amber, although I could change the LED if I really wanted to.

Trying to stay away from autometer.


Also I cant find anything for the stock gauge faces. I think it will look really nice if I can get some black/red gauge faces, then get the autometer gauge bezzel duel pod (one that goes around the stock gauges) and then put a matching black/red boost and oil pressure gauge in there.

I'm not clear on what you're wanting to match, but a set from any given manufacturer will all match each other.

The VDO gauges tend to match up with DSM factory faces pretty well, though you'll need to get condoms for the bulbs to get the colors matched.

im wanting the stock gauges/faces to match the 2 aftermarket gauges I will be buying (tired of autometer)

I can never find anything that replaces the stock gauge cluster faces to match with something like the black defi-d's

So im wondering if anyone knows any setups that do match, will probly help more people out then me.

OK pretty much, from what I can find the defi D gauge is the best looking so far for red/black.

Now what im trying to do really, is now find some sort of product that will make my stock gauge cluster (speedo, tach, etc) match to that. in color and in face.

so all of my gauges need a black background, and then red lettering, with red lighting. Basically so it all looks like it kind of came that way, and it just looks better if they match.


I cant find the original picture I was trying to work off but here it something similar, although this picture has the black stock gauge faces (mine came with white), the colors are slightly off, the font is a bit different, and when not lit its white letters in the stock spot. If I cant find anything I might just do what this guy did and buy someones stock black face and wrap the lights in red or get LED back there.

yeah defi D is the best oem look a like. I have one but i decide to go with blitz or other defi series. So if your interest pm me man..

the Greddy Electronic Peak/Hold 60mm gauges in SILVER.. only the Silver face lights up amber at night.. the white/black face lights up green..

although in the daytime it wouldnt look oem.. unelss u have a 99 eclipse with the stock white face gauges than it would blend better.

Okay, now I understand what you are saying. If you cannot afford Defi, VDO makes a gauge that also has that amber glowish and 1/4 the price. Here is what they look like, I had this originally in my car when I first bought it but sold it because it was not boost/vac and it only went up to 15 psi.

Actually thats almost exactly what I was looking for. the custom designed one with "reverse indigo" black face with red lettering and red lights. eurostyle font make it look just like the defi-d in the pictures.

think ill have to go with this, thanks!

they make custom overlays, and are now making custom 2" single gauges as well. im getting a whole new matching setup when they release the EGT gauges.
