what guages match the greddy turbo timer and profec b II the best? i was thinkin the autometer c2 but im not sure... i dont want to have like a rainbow deal goin on in my car...
anybody hav pics of matching guages?

Hang on Chuck, I'm getting some pics and will reply shortly. Do you already have the blue faced things you are listing?

thanks man :thumb: yah i have the tt already so i figured id get the profec b 2 and heard some good things about it so id like to go with the blue lighting deal and not hav like blue and red and green and such...

I started with the same idea of changing everything to blue as well. Then, after looking into having custom guages made by www.speedhut.com I got frustrated in the wait that they were quoting me before they would finish the 2" guages for the pod (they never made those deadlines and I notice that they still haven't 6 months later). This would be your best bet to avoid the rainbow thing. I wanted to replace all the interior lights with some form of blue so as to stand out, but everyone else does as well and they always go for blue (I did see a guy with green guages to match his GReddy guages). So I searched and found that the most unique thing I could do is to match the existing guages exactly (or as close as I could). I wanted to retain a very clean (like it should have come from the factory) look. I found the Defi Guages matched perfectly (people who don't know any better ask if the guages are stock). I get lots of complements and feel that I made a great choice. The A'pexi turbo timer matches as well and is much smaller, and I think the Profec Spec A (not sure) matches as well. You may still want to go with the blue but a lot of times you can't avoid the mismatching blues (ie the Profec light blue with a darker or lighter blue found on most guages or the SAFC).

Heres four pics. The first two are mine. The third is a nicely done conversion to blue by boostineklipz so you can see what you can accomplish if you try to avoid the rainbow as much as possible. Last is the rainbow clutter (sorry 91TSI505) that you will trying hard to avoid if you go blue. Hope that this post helps.

wow very good set up! i might have to change my mind...i just like blue, one of my fav colors! thanks for the pics and info! they all look good..im feelin ur set up tho very nice! :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks for the compliment. Blue is my favorite color as well and that is why I wanted to change to blue. Blue and orange are complementary colors of sort. I thought about painting my car blue and accentuating with orange lighting but the white car thing grows on you (I didn't like white cars before I owned one, you just kinda fall in love  ). Whatever you do, do it well. if you go to blue, make it as clean as possible and do the cig lighter, key ring, hazard switch, etc., etc blue as well and you'll be happy with whatever you choose (and if you aren't then you can change it again).

GREAT work, I agree w/ what you said 100%, matching is where its at.
I got the 2'' boost gauge from speedhut which matches my backlit blue gauges from them perfect. Both are silver face and look great. However, they also told me they would have a matching air/fuel gauge and more in like 3 weeks. Its been 8 months and they still have nothing. :thumbdown
There "development" is awfully slow and likes to string you along w/ false dates.
