Master clutch cylinder issue

I swapped out my slave yesterday , worked fine, then swapping the master it had good pressure even when not attached to the lines. Once I installed it and started pumping the clutch to do a bleed, there's no pressure at all and the push rod is just kind of hanging around moving freely.

could be a bad master. i had a new master put in my car by a shop before i started working on it myself and turned out that the new master was messed up and i had no pressure at all.

I don't get it, I was pressing it by hand before I put it in, and it had great pressure, now nothing.

when they put the bad master in mine it had good pressure for a little then the peddle just dropped to the floor after driving it for a couple blocks then i could pump it back up and it would work for a little and just keep doing the same thing

Did you adjust the clutch's hydrolic system properly.

Okay well I got a new master cylinder, it looked fine then I installed it and the rod has no pressure at all and just wobbles around. I have to wait for them to replace it with another now since it was defective
