I've searched and found nothing pertaining to my specific problem, if you get pissy and link to where it's been answered, thank you. I don't care how I get it solved even if it's the typical "holy F man you're dumb..search!!" when you pop the hood there isn't oil on the hood, there's no oil randomly splattered but it's on the right side of my motor, NOT the timing side, this is in the 420a section, I have a non turbo just to quadruple clarify. It's like it's coming from the front right of the valve cover gasket although it's been changed 3 times, and then it's basically COATED the entire right side of my motor, underneath, tranny casing looks like where the majority of it drips from to the ground due to it being clean which proves it's a constantly flow, it isn't gunky. So much oil in fact it's coated the entire underneath of my car clear back to the exhaust and gets all over my back numper/taillights. I put about a gallon of oil into my car every couple weeks and yes I know it's oil because I check it and it goes from full to oil light coming on going around corners in about 1.5 weeks... I am so over this piece of crap but I want to make it not leak and just make it a strict commuter. I plan on buying a real car for anything enthusiast related. Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Valve cover gasket, headgasket, rear main... there's a lot of different possiblities. If you're sure the Valve cover is good, and you say it's starting at the head then move down to the headgasket. Is it leaking out from where the head meets the block?
You can also do a compression test to get a pretty good idea of your headgasket condition.

OK... Lets see if we can eliminate this here. Is there a cam angle sensor over in that area? When i had my SOHC neon i did research about the head gaskets and whatnot. Turns out that the cam angle sensor seal leaks as well and makes it look like the HG is bad. Im not sure how the DOHC setup is but if the CAS is over there id check that just to be sure.

Excellent point, totally forgot about that. It's on the drivers side of the cylinder head towards the front of the engine. There's a o-ring in there that was leaking when I first got my car.

^^yep yep^^
I don't know what the 420a looks like, but my CAS O-Ring was old and turned to plastic.
I was leaking about a quart a week, unless I drove it hard then it got retarded bad.. haha..

Back when i had the neon this was a problem along with the head gaskets.. Oddly enough somehow the cam in my neon decided it wanted to walk out of the side of the head and ate into the sensor. Anyways i hope this solves your problem. Its always something stupid.....
