Kitchener,
Hey, I have search the forums and found nothing on installing the MBC???? I have one in my car already but i was just wondering if it hooked up right...
The first line T's in with the BOV line>>>to wards the turbo inlet pip (that direction)
And the second to my waste gate>>>>>
also the boost solenoid is disconnected ???is that also right and my after market boost gage is taped into another solenoid with a T connector right under the hood in front of the driver ?

It is best to have the MBC from a good boost source such as the turbo outlet nipple towards the MBC then to the wastegate. And have your BOV with its own boost source which comes from the intake manifold.

Nope.

Nothing should be teed into the bov line. The one line should be connected to a boost source (either from the compressor housing, the lower intercooler pipe, or something in that area). The other line is correct that is going to your wastegate nipple.

And I'm guessing the boost gauge is tapped into the FPR vacuum line which would be correct.

So i should disconnect it from the BOV line and connect it to the Turbo outlet nipple? but as it stands right now my turbo outlet nipple is blocked off?

one way is run it from the nipple on your J-pipe to boost cont then other vac line from wastegate actuator to the boost cont. there are many threads on this, search.

the nipple is not on the housing it self its on the outlet pip?about 3-6 inches away but after the turbo???still go to that one?

OK ill do that in the morning thanks for your help,.....greatly appreciated
SOOO just a yes or no is all im looking for but will it be beter on the j pip then the bov line where it is now?

Is it on the j pipe then? Or right before the j pipe (like on the picture below)?

are you sure that the hole before the j pipe is a place for hooking up a vacuum line?

its the pip that connects to the Side mount innercooler basicly the turbo outlet pipe goes down in front of my rad fans... it has a nippled on it but it blocked off.

Some turbos have a hole. That specific one may not be, but it gets the general idea across.

That'll do.

Just dont hook up the boost cont. backwards. Some have an arrow pointing to which one is the wastegate side, others have tiny holes for the side that connects to the wastegate.
