ok so i got around to cleaning my TSI engine bay, and removing paint. when i started cleaning everything up and started removing the poor spray paint job that the previous own had done ( my uncle ). i noticed that my manifold left top bolt was broke off, the same thing on my GSX. i want to get this fixed as i know its causing a leak, so i can put on the other turbo iv got sitting here (Big16g).

any ideas would be great here are pics of both my GSX and TSI with the bolt broke!

the first pic is the tsi.

Maybe use an EZ out or try drilling it and retapping the threads. I know the treads a metric but not sure on the size. You could take one of the bolts to a hardware store and they will be more then happy to sell you a bolt and tap.:thumb:

If you use an EZ-out then you could remove the broke piece without re-tapping the threads. Just drill a little hole in the center of the broken stud, you won't touch the threads. And use the EZ-out.
