I need a new manifold for my auto 1g, but the only one they have is a manual. Can I still use it?

manual and auto manifolds are the same
You can use a manual manifold. The only difference is the outlet going to the turbo is smaller on an auto vs the manual car. I ran a manual mani on my auto with a 13g for a while. If you feel like spending some time to make it right, and maybe gain a couple HP, you can port the turbine inlet on your turbo to match the manual manifold.
If you really want a auto manifold I have one sitting around taking up space.
Holy hell thats a lot of grinding to do. Get a good carbide bit and have atter.
Call me crazy but I've been wanting to get a 1g auto and only do very basic mods, still keeping the sidemount. It'd be a zippy little DD.

Wouldn't this cause excessive back pressure?
I've been reading alot about 13g turbo's and people have said that they really come alive once you port them. Only thing is I'm not sure if you can port them large enough to match a manual manifold. I wouldn't want to run one though w/out porting the turbo also, even if you can't get a gasket match you could get it closer.
