Slowboy exh. manifold?

Im looking in replacing my stock 1g manifold with a slowboy ported manifold. Even unported its supirior to the evo so I think I will get it. Will it bolt upto my small 16g?

Does anyboy have any feedback for this manifold?, should I see around 10hp gain with the ported modle. (I have the rest of stage 1)

yes it will bolt on to a 16g (its a perfect match for the 7cm^2 housing). I dont know the exact horsepower because i did everything at once. We had to get rid of the engine hoist & modify the heat shield because the flange is so thick!

i know ppl pushing 500+ hp that use stock manifold. Port a 2g manifold and spend your money elsewhere. To everyone their own, but i am just telling you that you can save money and gain more hp with another part.

I have about $4000 set aside to spend on my car between now and spring. so the cost isnt an issue

Also for the j-pipe that your using spyder, does it have abuilt in vacume port

id splurge on a new turbo then. What does this manifold cost? How are your other supporting mods coming?

nice edit!, 4000... hmmm do some head work... upgrade your turbo.. make sure all of your intake / exhaust / IC / piping is straight. ... AHH you probably know what your doing but i just dont see why you would want to waste all that money on a manifold!!!!!

start there, get at least a 50 TRIM, and build your motor. BAng that money is gone. dont need no manifold!! , im done. If threw in my .02

I am prolly gonna stay with my 16g, reason being, I drive my car year round and its a fwd. I have potential to get alot of snow aswell.

I will replace my 2.5" turboback with 3" rnr
550's
gm maft
upperlower ic
some nice tires in the spring
slowboy manifold
portwork
atc clutch
install my sub/amp
repaint the black portion of my car

the $4000 isnt only for preformance but the overall car

Well, I ordered one last week, It's coming Tuesday. Unfortunatly I hafto go wait in front of my old house because that is where they are sending it to, For some odd reason. I got it without the $50.00 portwork to the runners being I could do it for $5.00. Either way, I've seen it in person right out of the package, It is amazing.

You won't be disappointed, I have one, and it works very well. Plus it won't crack like a ported 2G will. And it will crack, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Enough heat with thin walls makes that happen. Good luck.

yea it does but i just plugged mine cause i have a MBC

well stock 14B comes with a 6cm^2 housing so you have to do some porting-matching or buy a bigger 7cm^2 housing
