The spyder has the MAF so they make no intake for the car so I am having some pipes bent so I can make my own intake. My question is I need the MAF adapter, is this it ( I know it says it is but this the only one I need? Click here which end does the intake cone go on the adapter end or the or the other end of the MAF. Any help would be great. I have a K&N im using not that cheap one it comes with

Another thing will a strut bar for a 2.0 fit on a 2.4? I dunno if the engine bays are bigger or smaller

Strut bar will fit, since it has nothing to do with the moter but the car itself wich is the same from turbo to non turbo.

The filter adapter bolts onto your MAF not the piping.
So the piping would have to be bent in the shape of an oval to mate to the MAF only at that end where it meets the MAF then conected with just an ordinary 3" coupler and clamps.

Let me reword this for you! Since i just re-read it and couldn't tell you what the hell i was thinking and typing at the time.:thumb:

The adapter thing has nothing to do with connecting custom made piping to the MAF, it only serves the purpose of being able to mount a cone style filter (like pictured) to the stock MAF where the old filter use to be.

The round part of the adapter is what slides into the filter.
The square part gets bolted to the MAF

Hope this helps a bit more!

Hmmm then what goes from the MAF to the piping would a coupler just hold it on?
