Making bleeder type MBC capable of running more boost?

Ok well a while back i bought a MBC from a buddy of mine, i needed it cause i was stuck with using WG actuator boost and it just wasnt cutting it anymore, well after i got my upgraded fuel setup i decided i wanted to turn up the boost, problem being it wont go past 18psi. this is a bleeder type mbc, not a ball and spring. I was wondering if there was a way i could make it capable of running higher boost, such as drill out the 2 small bleeder holes slightly, not a lot, just a little bigger allowing them to bleed off a little bit more air before opening the WG. Should it work as long as i dont go crazy and hog them out?

Have you leak tested yet? that can have alot todo with Boost control issues.

Drilling out the holes sounds like a bad idea. I would just get the other kind if you make them to big you can go back you know what I mean.

You can do that if you are really against getting a ball/spring. I made mine and it was very inexpensive. But if you are hell bent on not spending any money, you can drill the holes out. But just do a tiny, tiny bit. You'd be surprised how little you need to do. And like bojangles said, if you go too much, you can't go back.

Meh i tried it, barely drilled it out and it boosted to like 19 psi . Im just going to buy a ball/spring. I was just trying not to buy another one cause i had bought the ball/spring that the shop still has, this bleeder one, and now need to buy another one. kinda pisses me off. But oh well, do it right do it once....or three times . Thanks guys
