i bought a tyrp rs bov a couple months ago when they first came out to get rid of my blitz bov. i was venting to atm. with the blitz of course. after i bought the rs i found out they didnt make a recir. kit for it yet, and i got tired of wating on one, so i made one. it would actually be hard for most ppl on here to do it unless they have some type of ability to do machine work, but ive been reading a lot of threads about recir. kits for these bov's so i just thought i would let everyone know how i made mine. the pipe is 1" so i figured i could just find a piece of pipe at lowes or home depot that would work. WRONG!! i took a 1" piece of solid T6 aluminum stock about 3" long and went to work with it. i boared it out to 3/16" thick walls. then i had to cut threads on the end. i took the little blue end piece that came with the rs off to guage by. the threads are 34mm for anyone wanting to do this. after i cut the threads i made a step at the end of the threads for a stop so that when i screw this pipe into the bov it stops onto this step. u can then just cut the pipe off at whatever length u need it and take a piece of radiator hose to recirculate it.

after i got the piece done i put a small rag around a drill bit and shoved it into the piece of pipe i had just made. this allowed me to spin the pipe with a cordless drill. i spun it and held a piece of professional abrasive cloth around the outside of the step on the pipe. this took all the machining lines out of the piece. then i did the same thing with 80 grit sandpaper instead of the abrasive cloth. i went down to about 220 grit on the sandpaper. when i was done with this the piece was completely smooth. then i polished it out with rubbing compound.

anyone that has one of these bov's and is interested in doing this, if u dont have the ability to do any machining, take the small blue insert in the bov to a machine shop and they will prolly make u a pipe like mine. u can then polish it urself if u want to. but im sure it would be expensive having that made.

well i hope this helps anyone who has been waiting like i have for this recirculation kit to come out. if i left anything out and anyone has questions just ask. ill be glad to help anyone out on this.

Good work!
It always feels good to creat your own working part.
Now just add some photos and you'll have a complete write up.

ill add some pics as soon as i get a chance. i was gonna do that last night but i was really tired. i hardly got the text up on this thread.
