major problems with my 97 gs please help

It all started when i was on a trip and on the way when i slowed down the car was idling bad, i could here the puff puff sound out of the muffler. It goes away when you start driving but comes back when you slow down. Thats the first one

My brakes seem delayed kinda, when slam on them it takes like 2 seconds for it to start and takes longer to brake, that and my battery died randomly.

If anyone has an idea of what it might be, please let me know.

Looks like your alternator is taking a crap on you. If I were you, I would get the alternator tested asap.
