Anyone have any experience with this piece? or happen to have a picture of it, or know anything about it. I'm assuming it's for the oil filter housing, and it helps with high oil pressures due to no balance shafts and/or oil squirters.

The restrictor goes in your cylinder head. It is used to keep the oil pressure in check while turning higher rpms so that your lifters do not stay pumped up and cause the valves to stay open or to float. There is a thread somewhere on here where I asked Jake Montgomery about it. Him and Kevin Kiggly gave some very useful information about it. :thumb:

After reading your other thread, it is much like the JDM one, but I don't know the diff between the 2. You could contact Marco or FP and see what they say about it.

Yea I made the assumption it had more to do with the lower end, since that part on the cylinder head is referred to as a "regulator" i thought.

I talked to jay, from jayracing and he told me what it was. But I'd still like to hear some feedback on it!! haha...

so does anyone have some hard info on this? price, availability, etc. ?
