WASUP DSM'ERS ! I FEEL MY GSR-4 (EUROPEAN EDITION GSX) MAYBE READY TO BE FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE . BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT DOING THIS ANY TIPS OR LEADS? ANYTHING WILL BE APPRECIATED. I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT MAGAZINES AND GOT NOTHING BUT 1 REPLY FROM EUROTUNERS SAYING THAT THEY FORWARDED MY INFO TO SUPER STREET MAGAZINE . THANKS!​

Superstreet is the last magazine you want to talk to. They are Honda people and I doubt that they would look at a DSM.

Send it to Modified Magazine. They regularly feature DSMs, thats why I am a subscriber.

I hate to tell you this but most cars in magazines arent submitted they are chosen from various shows or competitions that the magazines go to. Take it to car shows or races and they will find you.

THEY NEVER REPLY. NOT EVEN A COURTESY REPLY! WE ARE STUCK DOWN HERE WITH NO ADVANCEMENTS. JUST PUT IT THIS WAY I OWN THE FIRST & LARGEST SPEEDSHOP WHICH I OPENED A LITTLE OVER 2YRS AGO. MY SO CALLED COMPETITION COMES FROM 2 AUTO ACCESSORIES STORES THAT HAVE FEW "RACING ITEMS" LIKE AIF FILTER AND MUFFLERS. MY REAL COMPETITION COMES FROM PEOPLE THAT FLY TO THE STATES AND BRING BACK PARTS IN THEIR SUITCASES TO AVOID ALL THE TAXES THIS F@#KING COUNTRY CHARGES. THEY ARE MY REAL COMPETITION. THERE IS NO TRACK HERE ONLY EVENTS WHICH ARE HELD EVERY 3-4 MONTHS WHERE THEY CLOSE OFF A STREET. HERE THE REAL RACE SCENE IS @ NIGHT ON THE STREETS. I HAVE THE ONLY SOOPED UP ECLIPSE TURBO HERE. THERE IS 1 MITSU GTO (JAPENESE VERSION OF THE 3000GT TT AWD). THERE IS ONLY 1 BMW M3 E46, 1 BMW 323i AA TUNING SUPERCHARGED (THAT I SPONSOR), 1 SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO AWD, 1 MR-2 TURBO, 1 CAMARO Z28 V8, 3 SKYLINES GTS, THE MOST POPULAR & COMMON ARE THE JAPENESE VERSION HONDAS WITH SIMPLE BASIC MODS. WE ARE GROWING. WHEN I FIRST OPENED MY DOORS 2 YEARS AGO UNIVERSAL MUFFLERS AND AIR FILTERS WAS WHAT MOSTLY SOLD. NOW IT STILL IS, BUT WE HAVE ADVANCED INTO MSD'S, DUAL FRICTION CLUTCHES, SHORT SHIFTERS, SUSPENSIONS, AND GAUGES AMONG OTHER THINGS.

i dont think super street would even do a "back in the day article" on a dsm. they are afraid of dsmr's cuz they are actual car enthuasist, not just in it for trophy's or car shows.

Try getting in touch with Turbo & High-Tech. They're pretty fair and balanced to all cars force-fed. Of course, the last time I picked up one of their mags was well beyond 2 years ago, so I have no idea what they're up to now.

It's worth a shot though.
