i have a 1992 eagle talon awd tsi turbo and i have a 1 gen maft translator in it and it stop working i wont to take it out all completly but i dont know how do i need any other parts to take its place please help...:talon:

To take it out, all you need to do is unplug it, disconnect the vampire clip on the pink wire (make sure you seal the stock wire with shrink wrap or electrical tape), and re install your stock maf sensor, and plug it in. If your car is running and boosting though, it hasn't failed, as without any maf reading, it runs like a tired dog. What are the symptoms?

Punctuation, grammar, spelling? We would enjoy assisting you but I dont know what your talking about.

i have a afc neo and a gm maf translator do i need both or is there a way to get rid of my gm maf and gm maf translator?

You have been pretty vague so far. Why do you want to lost the maf-t? Is the sensor before the turbo, like a stocker, or between the bov and the throttle body? You don't have to use the maft to tune, even with it installed. You can zero it out to stock settings and use your afc. What are the symptoms?

If you use both the MAF and SAFC to tune, you can get better results. You can hijack the injectors to run at a different level, and use the AFC to control the flow. The translator is designed to do just that.

Best thing to do at this point would be to update your mod. list, and try to convey your thoughts in a more structured way.

Basics to run a GM MAF (on a stock motor) is maft.... but it's ridiculous to tune with (IMO)

If you have any modifications you'll probably need some sort of logger.

It is possible to run a GM maf off of nothing but MAFT.... but like I said before.... some sort of logger would be required, as well as tuning ability.

I'm thinking you should re-state the question one more time though so we can all better understand it.
