I have just got a ramchargers maf translator and have a 3" gm mas air flow sensor. I read all the directions and installed every thing i put the sensor on the stock intake pipe and just got a 3" air filter. Tried the car out but as i was logging wasnt geting crap for fuel. I already have a afc but old school the 5 knob and tried to adjust it but the data logger did not read more then .07 v on the o2 reading. tried to adjust the base fuel trims along with wot and mid but nothing. any hints

no it read that it was mcuh leaner but the idle was fine[/QUOTE

We need more information to answer your questions. Car? MAFT switch settings? How did you wire the MAFT? Did you use the trouble shooting guide provided with the MAFT? Are you assuming that the car is getting crap for fuel by reading the O2 voltage? How does the car run?

all the switch and knob setting are in the default settings except the idle knob which is at 3
i wired the white wire (rpm wire) to the carnk agle postion sensor black wire. the rest was just plug stuff. I can get like 7lbs of boost but then it studers also plenty of knock which has lead me to belive that it is to little fuel or somthing.

Too much fuel could also cause knock and studdering. I believe you need to tune it using a wideband or logger. Did you set the base switch to the right size injectors?

i tried to play with the base knob but it didnt so any thing and i have a data logger it wouldnt any thing above like .1 v on o2

Your base knob sets injector size. If you moved it and nothing happened from one extreme to the other, then you MAFT is not hooked up correctly. If you are running 450 injectors and set the maft to 950cc injectors, you would hear a difference in the car for sure.

what do you think i installed wrong could the rpm signal wire or what else
Switch over to the mode that allows you to run with out the signal and see if that makes a difference. If it does, then it is the wire.
