So my maft blow through setup is on it's way here, what are the ups and downs? And also I'm running an safc II, any suggestions, I'm running 660cc injectors

I wanna hear personally from people what they think about it and if they ever bad any issues as well

Just run stock, and keep ## bov recirculated. Sell the maft set up. Why do u want the maft setup?

Wow what a waste of info. I have ran a maft gen 1 and a safc for over a year on 1200cc injectors and e85. Car ran great.

Just set the MAF-t to all stock settings. Change only the maf-t's base knob to setup for the 650's. Then use the SAFC to fine tune the WOT.

Maft set up does work well and seems to help a little with spool up(less restriction), some other pluses is that it gives you many different intake/filter options. I have custom intake pipe that pulls air right off the ground. bov placement doesn't matter anymore (pre-gm mass) as well venting it doesn't cause any trouble. Only real con that i have noticed is that they are very sensitive to moisture! heavy rain driving or big puddles can throw off your A/F (being over rich) until things dry out again.

I think you get that problem because from the sound of it you have a custom cold air intake,

Your right, but this is not a car i intentionally drive out in the rain/poor weather, however just like on a bike it can get you by suprise.

I also havn't experenced any ill effects from cooler weather with the maft.

Cool guys well thanks for the weather report LOL, I live I. Miami and the weather is pretty steady, but it does rain a whole lot
