My 550cc injectors are comin in short time, and my question is whether I should run an AFC or gm MAF to compensate. I can pic up a 3" MAF off of a camaro that one of my friends changed out for a performance one for cheap, possibly free, so I'll just need to pick up the translator. I know I won't be pushing the limits of the factory MAF with my setup, but it would be nice to have the room to grow. Eventually I would like to run both to fine tune everything, but just to get started, what would be the best choice.

It's hard to tune with just the MAF-T alone. I don't know if that changed on the newer version but alot of people use afc and MAF-T. I would get the AFC first.

Get an SAFC to tune with right now. If you can get the GM MAF for cheap or free, then get it and either use it now along with the SAFC, or put it aside untill later on when you'll need it.

wow, thanks for the quick replies. I wasn't sure about the tuneability of the MAF-T, but you guys made it pretty clear, thanks again.

As much as I sing the praises of a MAF+T, I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have a chip in my car. If you're not planning on rechipping your ecu, then you're probably better of with the safc.

the afc is by far the better single tuning choice of the two, but with both in unison they are excellent. :thumb:
