MAF-T and MAF help installing and tuning

I just bought the 3 inch MAF and the translator with it.
I have a greddy intercooler pipe.

I want to cut the pipe between the BOV and THe throttle body.
Then use reducers to make everything fit.

I do not know how to install it.
Do you unplug your wire from the MAF after the intake and plug that into the translator?
Is it that easy?

Also how do you tune it?
