I have a 92 and haven't been able to clear an AIT CEL. Replaced the MAF with one out of a 90. Still get the code and my boost guage won't move at all.

Steve is getting ready to rebuild a 90 EPROM for me.

Question I have is if the MAF is different between a 90 and a 92, after switching the wires around on the 90 ECU, do I need to use a 90 MAF.

Second, what is the advantage to running an EPROM compared to the regular ECU that came in my car.

1) The 1991+ MAS should be 100% plug-n-play in a 1990.
2) An EPROM ECU allows you to plug in a modified chip, to compensate for bigger injectors, newer MAS, remove limiters, etc.
