MAF relocation and possible change?

So, I have been reading and I can't seem to find what I want, so I will ask.

I have a 91 TSi AWD and I will be replacing the IC pipes with something a little more comforting and solid, like the Dejon piping. What I would like to do is relocate the MAF to somewhere close to the TB. Is this possible with the 1st gen MAF's? Or the second Gens?

Any other suggestions? I like the full Dejon kit, but I don't like the price of the translator at the moment with the other maintence that comes first.

nope you cant they are karmen type maf so the only way you can do that is with a gm maf

you must be thinking of a GM mass with a translator/blow though, witch allows bov happy dsmers to vent.
