So I’m still very very new to the Dsm scene I just got my ride cranked over for first time other day idled little funny thought maybe just needs a tune and test for vacuum leaks and boots leaks. As soon as I go to rev slightly car stalls instantly. Kept trying keeps stalling. My buddy got the idea to unplug the maf and try it car starts up idles nice and actually revs. What might be going on here?
 
your MAF sensor isn't working right. with it plugged in, your ecu is getting shit information from it. when you unplug it, the ecu goes into fail safe mode and runs off of the TPS and crank sensor signals (see below)
